Waterville rally is around the bend!

Coming up on Saturday is the Waterville Rally for Climate Justice.  Students and community members will be gathering at Colby's Cotter Union at 2:30pm before walking down to Waterville to demand US leadership in climate negotiations.  Engage the media on this human side of climate change by JOINING US!  Questions to aswinton@colby.edu

Could climate change aggravate terrorism?

Upcoming Events at Colby College:

November 12: Screening of Afsan's film, "Who Cares if Bangladesh Drowns," at Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville.  To be followed by a discussion forum.

November 15: Rally For Climate Justice!  Departing from Colby's Cotter Union at 2:30, ralliers will march from campus to Main Street to engage the Waterville community and media.  Following the rally, the group will congregate at the Opera House at 3:30 to hear from Afsan and retired Environmental Studies professor Tom Tietenberg.  Warm up, learn about local climate initiatives, and then take action: we will be writing letters to Congresswomen Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe to demand strong US leadership in future international climate negotiations.
